Company information
With over 40 years of experience in the heating and hot water industry, Martyn Jones founded M4RT in 2019. The company name is derived from Martyn's own name, reflecting the belief that personal accountability and pride in workmanship remain at the heart of the business. In 2023, M4RT became a Limited Company, building on more than four decades of trusted service and continued growth.
Where does the name M4RT come from?
"When I started the business, I wanted a name that reflected my approach to the heating industry. Heating technology is constantly evolving, and I didn't want to limit the company to one particular fuel, product, or technology. My aim was to create a business that could adapt, embrace innovation, and continue learning as the industry changes.
After exploring various ideas, I decided to base the company name on my own name, as ultimately the responsibility for every project rests with me. I replaced the letter A in Martyn with a 4, representing the four main energy sources we originally set out to specialise in: Renewables, Electricity, Gas, and Oil for heating and hot water.
The result was M4RT – a name that reflects both personal accountability and a commitment to delivering the right solution, whatever the technology."

"As we look to the future, M4RT will continue to grow at a pace that allows us to maintain the quality, service, and personal approach our customers have come to expect. We will keep learning, investing in new technologies, and adapting to an ever-changing industry.
With my son Aaron now joining the business, the future of M4RT feels brighter than ever. It gives me great pride to know that the values, knowledge, and passion that built this company can be passed on to the next generation.
